Most people who have seen William's picture from when he was rescued could not imagine how the thin, mangy, weak dog with the severely injured eye would survive.

But with his strong will (and healthy appetite), William bounced back to good health and moved on, one good eye and all.

He may have little tolerance to small children because of his compromised vision, but William is the perfect companion for anyone who likes slow walks, lazy afternoons and (lots of) meriendas while watching TV.
