Olga at the time or rescue
ADMISSION DATE: October 30, 2010
Age: approx. 1 year old
Olga was literally wrapped in pain when she was rescued. Her tight "harness" made of rough plastic had dug down on her skin. Open wounds surrounded her tiny body, but it was nothing compared to the look of fear she couldn't hide from her chocolate eyes.
As with any rescued dog, it took time for Olga's wounds to heal. What's remarkable is her unwavering trust and love to humans, no matter how much she suffered. Her happy demeanor and incomparable affection takes away the worst of fatigue and stress from volunteers--her future forever family is lucky, to say the least.
