Odin had a look of pure terror on her face when she was rescued by PAWS volunteers. Aspins used as guard dogs are often unsocialized, and, on her case, exposed to terrifying noise and pollution. If her emaciated and fearfully confused condition was of any indication, she had good reason not to trust people at the time.

Shy as she may be, Odin decided to give us humans another chance. From her quiet glances from the dog run and her hesitant steps forward when called by her new name, we know Odin is trying her best.
